Damaine Radcliff is an American film actor and the founder of Raining Giants. Radcliff is known for his role as the star in the movies Step Up and Glory Road. He is the executive producer of Rambo; Last Blood and the film Tesla. Radcliff is a successful actor, director, and producer.

Damaine Radcliff’s Personal Life

Damaine Anthony Radcliff was born in The Bronx, New York City on June 7, 1979. He started being socially active while in elementary school as he was a member of the nationally ranked chess team. Radcliff was also studying gymnastics and music something he was passionate about. While at Milford Academy he was the top-ranked basketball star and that’s where his journey in stand-up comedy and theatre career began. He is also easily recognizable due to his 6’5” height.

Damaine Radcliff ventured into stand-up comedy after high school and he was featured on Showtime at the Apollo. This paved the way for more opportunities and he started working in the production team for Dame Dash and Jay Z at ROC A FELLA Records. He moved to Hollywood and had a role in Jerry Bruckhiemer’s Glory Road the film was a success and became the number-one movie in America. This was followed by a bigger role as a co-star in the dance franchise Step Up alongside Channing Tatum.

He has successfully produced other films like The Gift of a Letter, Alone, and Last Shot and produced an episode of the TV series Dark Passages in 2016.

He was nominated for Best Short Film in 2023 for his film Othaniel which was also nominated for Best Narrative Feature. His upcoming project is the film Cali as a producer. He has a YouTube channel where he shares his sketch parodies and has gained millions of views. He has starred in an independent pilot Up North and he won Best Actor, Director, and Best Pilot.
