Professional Career

With the 83rd overall selection in the 2004 Major League Baseball draft, the Toronto Blue Jays selected Lind in the third round. For the Low-A Auburn Doubledays in his first season as a professional, Lind batted.312 in 70 games with seven home runs and 50 runs.  When he was promoted to the High-A Dunedin Blue Jays in 2005, he batted on .313 with 12 home runs and 84 RBI in 126 games.

Contract with Milwaukee Brewers

Lind was exchanged for pitcher Marco Estrada by the Milwaukee Brewers on November 1, 2014. He batted .277 with 20 home runs and 87 RBI in 149 games with the Brewers in 2015. The Brewers opted to utilize their $8 million on Lind for the 2016 campaign.

Seattle Mariners

On December 9, 2015, the Brewers traded minor leaguers Carlos Herrera, Daniel Missaki, and Freddy Peralta to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for Lind. Lind participated in 126 games for the Mariners in 2016 while hitting.239 with 20 home runs and 58 RBI.

Boston Red Sox

Lind and the Boston Red Sox came to an agreement for a minor league on June 2, 2018. He hit in 46 games for the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox. 32 RBI and eight home homers for 216. Lind was released by the Red Sox on August 1st, 2018.
